Mr. Jayant Sinha launched the #Corona_Harega Campaign during the COVID-19 pandemic, through which 50,000 safety kits were distributed across villages.
The main objective of this campaign was to promote protection from COVID-19 and to provide essential support to those in need.
During the pandemic, he ensured the distribution of masks to lakhs of people, and ration, hygiene, and nutrition kits to thousands of families. This initiative helped countless families in their fight against COVID-19.
The Sinha Health Institute is yet another step towards his mission of serving the people at large.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Jayant Sinha ensured every possible resource was made available to safeguard the people of Hazaribagh and Ramgarh.
He procured 200 oxygen concentrators from both within the country and abroad, and distributed them to hospitals for treatment purposes.
These concentrators provided critical support and relief to a large number of patients. At a time when patients were struggling to access oxygen, these machines served as a lifeline—like Sanjeevani Booti.
Through the Sinha Health Institute, Jayant Sinha aims to provide world-class healthcare facilities to the people of Jharkhand in the future.
During the COVID-19 crisis, Mr. Jayant Sinha extended full support to nearly 50 children in Hazaribagh and Ramgarh who had lost their parents to the pandemic.
With the help of Feeding India and Zomato, he provided education kits to these children, which included tablets worth around ₹20,000 to facilitate online learning. Additionally, the children received a one-year free subscription to Unacademy along with essential stationery items.
He also ensured that these children received a full year’s supply of ration, helping them maintain proper nutrition.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he helped set up over 500 oxygen beds, 80 ventilator beds, and 250 additional beds across the region.
He coordinated with various organizations and carried out this work on a war footing, saving hundreds of lives in the process.

In the past as well, he has successfully brought to life major projects like the Hazaribagh Medical College and Hospital, worth around ₹2,000 crore. Through multi-thousand crore investments, Jayant Sinha ji has gifted the region with several such “gems.” Now, with the Sinha Health Institute, a new chapter is about to begin.
Shri Jayant Sinha has successfully implemented a major project — the Akshaya Patra kitchen in Hazaribagh, built at a cost of ₹24 crore. Due to his dedicated efforts, another Akshaya Patra kitchen is also being constructed in Ramgarh at a cost of ₹28 crore.
Together, these two kitchens will provide nutritious meals to 1.5 lakh children every day, helping eliminate malnutrition and improving the overall health of the children.
